We are always in need of Puppy Raisers. Having good, reliable Puppy Raisers is key to our success. The Puppy Raiser’s job is to provide a home environment for the puppy, teach it basic commands and expose it to as many different situations as possible at a young age in order to prepare it for its future role as a service dog. The Puppy Raiser will be provided with a socialisation programme and will be supported by our trainers throughout. We take care of all the food, vet, grooming and equipment the puppy may need.

Don’t have the time or energy for a puppy but still want to get involved in some way? We want to hear from you! Help is always welcome, whether it is to help organise a fundraising activity, give short talks about the work we do or take the dogs for a walk during long events! A great deal of work goes into training a service dog and everyone’s input is appreciated. Contact us today and let us know how you would like to contribute.

Each service dog cost approximately €15,000 to train and maintain but they are given to our clients at no cost (subject to terms and conditions) so funds are always needed. If you are interested in holding a fundraising activity to help us out, please do get in touch! We will help you in any way we can. Some people throw parties and ask their friends to make a donation.
